Have you ever heard these blazing lyrics -- "Even if a thousand hardships strike me down, my burning heart will never change"? They tell the story of a young man from afar, andthe deep bond he’s forged with the city of Changsha.

他叫范泰西，来自尼日利亚，是拥有百万粉丝的音乐创作者，是登上央视国际舞台的歌者，是多项荣誉的获得者。

His name is Fan Taixi (OKEKE CHIBUIKE GODSFAVOUR) -- a Nigerian-born music creator with millions of followers, a performer on CCTV's international stage, and the recipient of numerous honors.

如今他已在长沙成家立业，对这座城市有了更深的眷恋。在他眼中，长沙既有烟火气又有松弛感。“长沙是一个你来了就不想走的地方。你可以不花一分钱，在街头找到你喜欢的声音。民谣、流行与摇滚在街头交织碰撞，整座城市像一场露天的流动音乐会。”

Now settled in Changsha with a family and a career, his bond with the city runs deeper than ever. To him, Changsha combines the warmth and vibrancy of the street life with a laid-back lifestyle."Once you come to Changsha, you never want to leave," he says. "You can soak in the sounds of the streets without spending a dime -- folk, pop, and rock all mingling in the open air. The whole city feels like one big, moving concert."

他想把这份独属于长沙的氛围感，推荐给全世界。“欢迎大家都来玩。欢迎大家都来玩。如果说找不到地儿的话，可以上那个黄兴广场啊。每天（音乐）应该是六点半开始，一直到九点、十点钟左右。正好结束了，可以去吃个夜宵。夜宵特别好吃。”

He wants to share this vibe with the world."Everyone's welcome. Come visit! Just head to Huangxing Square. Music starts at 6:30, goes till 9 or 10.After that, grab some late-night snacks -- trust me, they're amazing."

范泰西不仅在长沙找到了归属感，更遇见了闪闪发光的自己。这几年，他接连受邀参加音乐综艺，多次登上央视舞台，更斩获《星光大道》季赛冠军，被越来越多的人看见、喜爱。

Fan Taixi not only found a sense of belonging in Changsha, but also discovered a brighter version of himself.In recent years, he has been invited to take part in various music shows and has appeared multiple times on China Central Television. He also won a seasonal championship on the TV show Avenue of Stars, gaining growing recognition and popularity.
