The "CNY Symbols: Joyful Taste of Changsha" Global Influencer Tour, jointly organized by the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television, Ctrip Group, and TripAdvisor, was held in Changsha recently. Ten global travel influencers from countries including Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand gathered in the city to embark on a three-day immersive journey exploring Huxiang culture.

On the first afternoon of the event, influencers ventured into Yuelu Mountain, visiting the over-a-thousand-year-old Yuelu Academy and the renowned Aiwan Pavilion. They then ascended the "Changsha Eye" Sightseeing Platform, taking in the magnificent panorama of Changsha's "mountains, rivers, islands, and urban area."

At the Tank Changsha (1936), influencers stepped into Hunan's first immersive theater-themed space, "Mamma Mia Show Stage." Evgeniia, an influencer from Russia, spoke highly of the performances here, and was particularly impressed by the Pirates of the Caribbean-themed show. "Changsha's nightlife is more exciting and vibrant than I could have ever imagined!" she exclaimed after experiencing the city's creative energy and passion.

The next day's tour began at the Orange Isle. The influencers strolled along the Orange Isle, immersing themselves in the profound history and surging passion embodied by this land.

At noon, the influencers visited the KAWS sculpture at the Changsha International Finance Square (IFS), and personally experienced the convenient instant tax refund service for departing travelers, appreciating the city's international and user-friendly atmosphere. In the afternoon, they came to Hunan Museum to observe the remarkably well-preserved remains of Lady Xinzhui, which have survived for over two thousand years, the Plain Gauze Gown known for being "thin as a cicada wing" and "light as smoke," and the Min Fanglei, which is hailed as "King of All Fangleis." Every influencer held their breath in awe, profoundly impressed by the brilliant and masterfully crafted ancient Huxiang civilization.

That evening, influencers happily strolled through the Taiping Ancient Street, browsing and shopping at its trendy new brands.

Experiencing a signature wellness massage enabled the influencers to unwind completely after the hustle and bustle of Changsha at night while embracing the city's unique sense of relaxation. British traveler Toby remarked contentedly after his massage, "The therapist's technique was highly professional. I felt incredibly comfortable afterward."

On the third day, the influencers had a taste of Changsha's characteristic brunch culture at Dongmao Street Teahouse. They then went to the Happy Snowfield in the Changsha Xiangjiang Joy Town Amusement Park to immerse themselves in the romance of a snowy wonderland. It is the largest indoor ice and snow park in central part of China, which was transformed from an abandoned mine pit.

In the afternoon, the influencers arrived at Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town, the thousand-year-old pottery capital. Walking along the cobblestone streets of the town, they sampled time-honored snacks and felt the vibrancy of kiln fires that have burned for over a thousand years. They then entered an art museum, pausing before exquisite historical artifacts and listening to the cultural stories behind them. Dmitrii, a Russian influencer, expressed his fondness for the local snack "sazi" and enthusiastically introduced it before the camera.

A night tour of Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town on the last day brought the experience trip to its climax. The dazzling intangible cultural heritage art of "molten iron fireworks" cascaded like a starry river, while the bonfire party was in full swing. The photography experience let influencers try flying wire stunts. This dreamlike scene left the influencers thoroughly thrilled.Eric from the United States remarked, "What inspires me the most about Changsha is the locals' innovative spirit and the city's culinary scene. Each block has its own distinct character, especially the emerging cultural and creative districts. The way they blend history with creativity is truly beyond imagination."Toby from the United Kingdom shared his observations, "Changsha is a very modern city, and it takes on a whole new look at night. Strolling along the pedestrian street, sampling stinky tofu, getting a massage, and checking out fantastic bars like Mamma Mia—it's all so much fun. I'll definitely be back, and I'll bring my friends from the UK to enjoy both the day and night in Changsha."These vivid reactions and in-depth reviews from global travel influencers not only offer authentic international perspectives on Changsha's diverse appeal but also demonstrate the robust momentum of its thriving inbound tourism sector. Standing at the new starting point of 2026, Changsha will leverage this global influencer visit as an opportunity to continuously enhance the inbound tourism experience, strengthening its brand image as the "premier destination for inbound travel in central regions of China." The city will present to the world a more open, welcoming, and culturally confident image, ready to embrace visitors from every corner of the globe.
